  1. Kia ora Lyn, I have read your books: Leading Collaborative Learning, Putting Faces on the data and Good to Great to Innovate and I am really excited about your words but also the work you are doing. I am in Christchurch, NZ. In 2010 and 2011 we experienced significant earthquakes- the upshot of these earthquakes has been a rebuild of our city BUT most significantly (I think) a rebuild of education. This is because many of our schools were seriously damaged and have been closed, merged or rebuilt. What sits underneath this has been a pedagogical shift (this is where I thoroughly enjoyed Leading Collaborative Learning), anyway we are building the plane whilst we fly. Data and the implications of use seem to have been lost with all the educational change we are experiencing. I am a Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour Manager, in 2016 I had a study award to look at inclusion for our diverse learners in the new pedagogy of innovative and collaborative classrooms. I visited Parramatta, Sydney, and can now see the influence you have achieved with the Catholic Diocese in this area. The purpose of this email is to invite you to Christchurch New Zealand and help my schools to appreciate and use innovation and data to make the significant difference to student’s learning which I believe we are missing due to the rapid change process. We are ready!!
Please let me know if this is possible for sometime in the new future. This is really important.
    Kind regards
    Maureen Allan

  2. Hi Lyn, I am a principal at Dalby State School and I met you in Toowoomba at the last session of “Putting Faces on the Data”. I am travelling to Toronto on the 11th July – 15th July.
Just wondering whether I can catch up with you if you are in Toronto during that particular time.
I was going to email you some work that we have done at Dalby State School and will try and do this week.
Hoping there may be a chance to catch up.
    Warm Regards
    Mona
